The snow in Maine was light and cold...perfect for our first cross country ski of the season. We went out Saturday and cut the first tracks on the golf course. Took an easy loop without many hills. I went around twice...maybe 2 miles total.
Today was warmer and not as good for skiing. I walked with a friend to the village peninsula, about a mile one way, and back as it was growing dark. Another two miles. And it actually felt like a weekend!
